Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium for the PEG-Salt Aqueous Two Phase Equilibrium and Protein Solubility

The liquid-liquid equilibrium, the polymer of glycol was PEG4000 and PEG6000, and the salts were sodium sulfate and sodium bisulfate. Experiment temperatures were chosen at 293.15 K, 298.15 K, and 303.15 K and under the normal pressure. The protein solubility was measured with PEG4000 + sodium sulfate and PEG6000 + sodium sulfate aqueous two phase system; protein was Albumin from chicken egg. Experiments were being in the normal pressure and at 298.15 K. All of liquid-liquid equilibrium data were correlated by Extended UNIQUAC model. In general, the model reproduces reasonably for the ternary liquid-liquid equilibrium phase diagrams.
