A New Inorganic Membrane Reactor for Continuous Synthesis of Acetone Oxime through Acetone Ammoximation over TS-1
A new inorganic membrane reactor was developed, which can solve the problem concerning catalyst separation in situ from the reaction mixture and make the production process continuous. In this work, the feasibility of continuous ammoximation of acetone over TS-1 in the inorganic membrane reactor was investigated. Experimental results show that the conversion and selectivity keeps at about 92% and 95% in the continuous run, respectively. The new inorganic membrane reactor system can maintain a steady production of acetone oxime over 8 h, and has a higher productivity than the batch reactor.
