A new flue gas activation process for SO2 removal with V2O5/ AC in coal power plant

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) in flue gas is one of the key precursors to acid rain, a major air pollutant. It can cause many serious problems such as respiratory disease in humans. The flue gas from power-plant contains H2O, O2, CO2 and the temperature of flue gas after exiting the furnace is higher than 800℃.
