Synthesis of morphology-controlled α -Fe2O3 nanoparticles by one step hydrothermal method
Morphology-controlled |á -Fe2O3 nanoparticles are synthesized by one step hydrothermal method assisted with amino acids. The reaction conditions, such as the type and amount of amino acids, have a signification effect on the shape and size of the obtained nanoparticles. By changing these reaction conditions, uniform and monodispersed |á -Fe2O3 nanoparticles with different shapes, such as rhombohedron-, spindle- and close cube-shaped,have been obtained.
