Microstructure Characteristic and Polluting Characteristic of Combustion Fly Ash Particles of Compound Refuse Derived Fuel
The microstructure and polluting characteristic of the fly ash from combustion of compound refuse derived fuel were researched with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive microanalysis (EDX). Enrichment factor method and correlation analysis are also applied to identify the pollutant element and sources of the particles. The results show that the fly ash particles have various shapes, including porous sponge-like particles, irregular-shaped and compacted particles, and fiber rod-shaped particles, spherical and non-spherical aggregates and so on. Most of them are irregular. It is found that the mixing ratio of railway biomass and coal has an impact on the pollution emission. As the mixing ratio of railway refuse increases, more pollution elements appear, such as chlorine, sulfur, sodium and potassium, especially during the ratio of 40%-50%, enrichment of calcium 、fluorine appear.. In addition, the high coefficients for sodium and chlorine tell us that sodium chloride from food waste is one major source of the pollutant element fluorine.
