Anaerobic Co-digestion of Cow-manure and Kitchen Waste

Batch co-digestion of cow-manure and kitchen waste was carried out under 37 for 50 days. ??In batch experiments it was shown that: (1) the ultimate experimental biogas production potential of cow-manure to kitchen waste by 1/2 and 2/1 was 0.66 l/gVS and0.71 l/gVS, enhanced by 50% and 29%, respectively;(2) the methane content of the four difference rate materials was about 50-55vol% and the ultimate bioenergy yield was evaluated from observations to be 17.58-19.34 MJ/ m 3 ;(3) the efficiency of cow-manure to kitchen waste by 1/2 was most high during co-digestion; the gas production during first 10 days and 20 days was 55.4% and 92.2% in total;(4) the ultimate biodegradability of 4 difference materials were 46.99%、53.31%、70.12% and 66.26% ,respectively.
