Pulse Vaccination Strategy in a Delayed SIRS Epidemic Model

A delayed SIRS epidemic model with pulse vaccination is proposed.Using Krasnoselskiis fixed-point theorem and the comparison method,the existence and global attractivity of the disease-free periodic solution are obtained.Further,we obtain the conditions that guarantee the permanence of the disease.These results indicate that a large pulse vaccination rate will lead to the eradication of the disease.
