Global Stability of an Epidemic Model With General Incidence Rate

We study an SEI endemic model with a general contact rate,constant recruitment and diseasecaused death.The basic reproduction number is found.By constructing suitable Liapunov function and using Lasalle invariance principle,it is proved that the disease-free equilibrium is globally stable and the disease dies out eventually.The sufficient condition is established to ensure that the unique endemic equilibrium is globally stable.Numerical simulations support our analytical conclusions.
