Delay-independent Stability of an SIR Epidemic Model with Time Delay

摘要：

The generalized Sturm theory developed in reference1 enables us to complete the stability analysis in a simpler way than before. The approach gives the stability criterion characterized by a sufficient and necessary condition. In this letter, on the basis of the approach, we consider the delay-independent stability of an SIR epidemic model with time delay. And we have the necessary and sufficient conditions of the disease free equilibrium delay-independent.
