THE PROGRESSION OF TUMOR CELL NUCLEAR TRANSFER
In the end of 1960s, the first researchers used frog kidney cancer cell as donor, and then transferred it into the oocyte cytoplasm. As a result, it reversed the tumor formation and the reprogrammed cell developed to the tadpole stage(McKinnell, R.G.et al, 1969). Modlinski etc(1990) isolated mouse embryonic tumor cell which was then transferred into the mouce oocyte cytoplasm in vitro using nuclear transfer technology. After 22h cultivation, they found that embryonic tumor cell show their reshape characteristics, and only a few of them could develop to blastula. Li etc(2003) used medulloblastoma cell nucleus as donor to perform tumor cell nuclear transfer(TCNT) and it come out that they can develop to blastula.
