REGULATORY EXPRESSION OF FOXO3A PROTEINS IN DIFFERENT SIZE OF FOLLICLES AND CHANGED CONCENTRATIONS OF INTRACELLULAR CALCIUM DURING MATURATION OF GRANULOSA CELLS IN VITRO IN THE PIG
Recent study shows that FoxO transcription factors and calcium are involved in the process of follicular development. In the present study, cellular localization of FoxOs and several related proteins are examined in porcine ovaries by immunohistochemistry (IHC). In addition, cellular survival rates, intra cellular concentrations of calcium (Ca2+i), secretions of estradiol (E2) and expressions of FoxO3a protein in ovarian granulosa cells during maturation in vitro are detected to study the mechanisms underlying follicular development and atresia in the pig.
