Global Analysis of a class of Competition Model
A competition model, which is different from the classical Volterra competition model, is investigated. In this model, it is assumed that one species has a constant recruitment rate and is with the density-independent death. For this model, the threshold ensuring the existence of positive equilibrium is found, two positive equilibria may coexist for some parameter values, and the phenomena of bistability may happen. Its global dynamical behaviors are analyzed completely, and the biological meaning of the results obtained is introduced.
