Unbiased Estimate for the Parameters of a Uniform Distribution*
In this paper, we establish the unbiased estimators for the parameters of a uniform distribution. We derive their probability density functions, and find that the mean square error of the unbiased estimators probably is half of the formers. We obtain the confidence lower limit for the left endpoint and the confidence upper limit for the right endpoint of the interval, and obtain the one-sided testing for the uniform parameters.
