Storage Manager for Fast Insertion of Data Streams

DSMS have been researched for processing data streams that have bursting input. Data streams have to be stored to retrieve past data streams. But the researches about storing data streams have not been processed. This paper proposes storage manager for store bursting data streams. Proposed storage manager uses circular buffer for effective memory usage, and ties many data streams up in one set and compresses it to decrease input disk I/O and to store many data streams. Therefore the system can store bursting data streams into disk.
