Design and Realization of Power GIS Component
The geography information system is widely used in many fields like resources analysis, population statistics, transportation, municipal works, etc. The electric power information system also has characteristics of being distributed in wide area,complicated circuit, great number of equipments etc.Data managed by electric power information system is related closely with geographic location, so it means much to apply GIS to electric power information system. The component GIS, a new GIS technique which is developed basing on the COM technique,envelops every kinds of GIS functions into each component. In this paper, the author made some research about GIS key technology and theory with the help of COM technology, and also made some discussion about the way of developing electric power GIS application components under the consideration of combining application component technology with characteristics of electric power industry, and accomplished the development of electric power GIS application components.
