Application of GIS& RS in Urbanization in Haikou, Hainan province

摘要：

This paper is concerned with Urbanization through Geographical Information Systems, remote sensing imagery and analysis the relation Urbanization with population growth in Haikou city, The result indicated that the integration of remote sensing and GIS provides an efficient way to detect urban expansion.
