The CO2 Gasification Reactivity for the Entrained Gasifier Fly Ash Using Temperature-programmed Thermo-gravimetry
The CO2 gasification characteristics of fly ash carbon were performed by a temperature-programmed thermo-gravimetry, which heating rates were 5K/min, 15K/min and 30K/min, respectively. The effects of the operation conditions of Texaco gasifiers and the heating rates on gasification reactivity of fly ash carbon were investigated, and the kinetic parameters were calculated from Kissinger method. The results showed that the four fly ash samples were reasonably rich in ash content and poor in carbon content, the reactivity of fly ash carbon decreased with the decreased operated pressure of Texaco gasifiers, and heating rate had obvious effects on CO2 gasification reactivity. In addition, the values of apparent activation energies were increased with the decreased operated pressure of Texaco gasifiers.
