Research on Concentration Measurement of Pulverized Coal with a Capacitance Solid Concentration Sensor

摘要：

The principle of concentration measurement in a capacitance solid mass flow meter, manufactured by Thermo Ramsey Corp., is briefly introduced. The concentration of various pulverized coals is measured at identical concentration using the capacitance concentration sensor which is part of the solid mass flow meter. It was found that coal types, particle sizes and moisture content, to a variously extent,affected results of the pulverized coals concentration measurement, and the causes of concentration measurement deviation under the different conditions were discussed.The research can provide worthy reference for efficient use and calibration for an electric capacitance solid mass flow meter for applications of pulverized coal pneumatic conveying.
