Principle of Ginseng saponin effects and Developing products

The most important constituent of ginseng is a saponin glycoside and its several elements,known as ginsenosides.Previously research indicates that most of the Ginseng- like pharmacodynamies effects are attributed to ginsenosides.It can be classified into three major categories,was named:protopanaxadiols (PPD) (e.g.Rb1,Rb2,Pc,Rd,Rg3,Rh2),protopanaxatriols (PPT) (e.g.Re,Rf,Rg1,Rg2,Rh1) and the oleanolie acid derivatives.By key word of Ginseng ,search on PubMed,was find 3240 pieces,from 1950-1980:253p,1981-1990:279p,1991-2000 developing to 956p,Including:China 316p,Japan 217p,Korian 147p,western country (USA,UK,Germany and Canada )223p.2000-08 go up to 1799p,China 669p,western country (USA,UK,ermany and Canada ) 471p,Korean 392p,Japan 147p and others country 110p,total 1799p.In these changes,that significant:Ginseng research developing from oriental to western of medical science.And most research from China.
