The Structure Development for the General Steady-state Compression Refrigeration Virtual Laboratory
The concept of virtual experiment which can free researchers from great amount of simulation programming has not been widely used in refrigeration and HVAC fields. The main reasons are the difficulties in finding a general system couple algorithm and designing a system description data structure which can help analyze the refrigeration system more effectively. In this paper,Incidence Matrix Sequential Modular (IMSM) method,an auto-coupled system algorithm using incidence matrix as the system description data structure,is designed for refrigeration and HVAC virtual laboratory. The fluid network analysis method used in IMSM algorithm enables the air-conditioning part and refrigeration or heat-pump part performance to be studied in an associated simulation system.Based on the IMSM algorithm,a modular structure of a general steady-state compression refrigeration virtual laboratory is developed in this study.Using modular structure and DLL file, the virtual laboratory is expandable and flexible for different accuracy and efficiency requirements.
