Study on Energy Consumption of Breathing-type Glass Curtain Wall in Chinese Cold Region in Summer
The outward breathing-type glass curtain wall possesses the virtue of transparent and elegant,and it has good noise-insulated function,which has received more and more attentions of erectors and architects.Many researchers think that it can save energy in winter.But seldom study concentrates on its energy consumption in summer.Recurring to a practical project in Tianjin,China,authors study temperatures changing in interlayer in summer.The research result shows that whether vents are open or not,solar radiation has negative impact on interlayer air of breathing-type glass curtain wall in summer.Ordinary double-skin uses more energy than breathing-type.To ensure the energy consumption in a year,comprehensive evaluation requires to be made according to its running.
