Assessment of Dutch Ventilation Technologies for China
To study possible improvements of the ventilation system in China,the experiences of Dutch ventilation technologies can be used as a good reference.Based on a comparison of heating degree-days (HDD) and cooling degree-days (CDD) values of the Netherlands and several large cities in north China,it is found that the climate of the city of Dalian is comparable with the Dutch climate.Further study includes more detailed climatic and building factors related to ventilation systems by using reference apartments.Then,traditional and innovative ventilation systems and technologies in the Netherlands are introduced.Furthermore,the weak points of the reference ventilation system in Dalian are analyzed.Three possible ventilation strategies are proposed,based on Dutch ventilation technologies,to improve the reference ventilation system in Dalian.In future studies,COMIS and TRNFlow simulations are intended to be carried out.
