User Preference Based Control Strategy for an Automated Blind
Automated blinds need to be properly controlled to reflect the changing of outdoor environment. For reducing occupant discomfort in which circumstances, automated blind system eliminates direct solar penetration while maximizing the use of daylight, and minimizing the frequency of blind movement. To this end, this paper deals with analysis of factors that affect the frequency of blind movement. These factors consider user preference as well as changing of outdoor environment,so that the control system can determine optimal blind movement frequency which is suitable for occupants in order to avoid undue annoyance.
