Research on Productivity Model in Hot and Humid Environment Based on Heat Tolerance Time Analysis

There are many hot and humid workshops in China.The characteristics of their thermal environment is the high temperature,high humidity and little radiation intensity.Thermal environment is one of the most important factors that have impact on workers productivity.This paper firstly describes the influencing factors of productivity and summarizes some research models about productivity and thermal environment.Then introduces experimental research on the workers tolerance to extreme thermal environment.A hot and humid environment chamber was built to simulate the working environment.Heat tolerance time and productivity in different environments was tested with the change of air temperature and humidity in the environment chamber.Then regressive formulas for heat tolerance time changing with thermal environment parameter (WBGT) under different work intensities were provided by statistics methods.On this basis,the function of productivity changing with heat tolerance time and thermal environment parameter (WBGT) under different work intensities was obtained finally.
