Mathematical Simulation of Particle Penetration Through Smooth and Rough Building Envelop Leakage
In China,people spend about 85% of their time indoors.Most residences are not equipped with mechanical ventilation systems,and infiltration is the main ventilation style during beating and cooling seasons.Consequently,human inhalation exposure to particles of outdoor origin depends largely on the degree to which particles can penetrate the building envelope and remain suspended in indoor air.This paper analyses the impact factors of particle penetration into indoor environment,and develop a mathematical model to simulate the penetration of particles from outdoor to indoor.
