Effectible Factors of Ground Source Heat Pumps Operating Characteristics

In this paper,ground source heat pump experiment system in Hebei University of Engineering is considered the simulation analysis object.The underground exchanger included two boreholes both have diameters of 150mm and the depth of 120m.In the experiment,water was considered the circulation medium,the material of the u-type heat exchanger whose diameter was 25mm was the high-density polyethylene plastic tube,the entire seal vortex type compressor was used in the heat pump uses and the refrigerant was R22.The compressor theory discharge was 21.0m3/h,the ARI standard refrigeration capacity 21.8Kw,the input power 6.54Kw,and the electrical machinery rotational speed 2,900 Rev/Min.The evaporator and the condenser were both the plate heat exchanger,and the heat transfer area was 3.5m2.The year round operating simulation results of R22 source heat pump system was analyzed, using the ground source heat pump operating characteristic simulation model based on the column source theory. And the experiment results were simulated in Matlab software.The results indicate that the soil characteristic has important influence on the operating characteristics of the ground source heat pump, and that the backfill material also has the restriction to the operating characteristics of ground source heat pump to some degree. And the cycle performance of ground source heat pump system can be effectively improved by properly increasing the pipe length of underground heat exchanger and by adopting the hybrid ground source heat pump system.From the simulate results, we could conclude that the hybrid ground source heat pump is the only means of improving ground source heat pump performance if increasing pipe installation length is restricted by the location, that increasing pipe length of underground heat exchanger or hybrid ground source heat pump suitably can improve the circulation performance of the source heat pump system effectively, and that the promotion and the application of the ground source heat pump technology in different locations must be based on the operating simulation of the ground source heat pump which is reliable and effective as well.
