Effect of Heat Insulation Methods on AC Load of Super High-rise Residences with In-frame Structure and Out-frame Structure

Recently,high-rise residences are becoming more and more near to our life as the rapid development of real estate. It is recognized that most people prefer to choose high-rise residences because of their various merits. However,as a big share of the total energy consumption, residence energy saving is of vital importance. Therefore,it is important to reduce energy consumption to keep a low environment load. This paper examines Air-Conditioning loads (hereinafter referred to as AC loads) of two different kinds of super high-rise residence which is in-frame structure and out-frame structure. For this examination,we used the dynamic simulation software THERB (the simulation software of the thermal environment of residential buildings). The result shows that heat capacity has a considerable impact on AC loads of high-rise residences. The heat capacity of in frame super high-rise residences is larger than that of out frame ones.Furthermore, effects of AC style, heat insulation style, and structural form on AC loads of high-rise residences are significant.
