A New Modeling Approach to Decrease the Vehicle Emission on the Urban Transport
Traffic-induced emissions pose a serious threat to air quality in many metropolises. As far as transport emission is concerned, comprehensive measures must be taken to improve urban environmental quality. These measures include not only technical ways but also transport management. This paper studies the transport planning model.Part one is a brief introduction to the framework of the study;Part two describes the methodological requirements for the emission rate from the field measurement data;Part three introduces the mechanism of pollution control by transport management;Part four builds the transport planning model to reduce the emission;A case study is given in the part five. Finally,in part six, conclusions are presented.
