Selection of Reverse Logistics Operation Mode by Applying Analytic Network Process Method
Due to the internal driven force of reducing cost and building a friendly brand image as well as the external restriction of environment protection and government regulation,companies gradually realize the necessity of implementing reverse logistics.It is researched that the current reverse logistics operation mode can be roughly classified as private operation,co-operation and outsourcing.Each mode has its distinct characters and fit for different enterprises with their unique service requirements.Therefore,it is significant to select a proper reverse logistics operation mode for enterprises.In the process of operation mode evaluation,decision-making variables are fuzzy and interaction,hence analytic network process (ANP) method is selected as the research method.A set of evaluation index for reverse logistics operation mode is established,furthermore,an ANP selection model is built based on this index.Applying Super Decision software and the established model,a selection process of reverse logistics operation mode is simulated for an example company.It is shown in the case that utilizing ANP method can simplify problems with the character of feedback and interaction,and decision making process can be more rational and scientific.
