Evaluation of Outdoor Thermal Comfort around the Bo Sea Based on Statistics and Mathematical Model
Much attention has been drawn to the thermal comfort of people in outdoor conditions while current thermal comfort indices and evaluation methods are still in developing in China. The methods of statistics and mathematical model were considered to evaluate of outdoor thermal comfort in the coastal spaces around the Bo Sea,based on climatic data from 1975 to 2004 at the hot tourism regions of Dalian,Qinhuangdao and Qingdao. Slight difference in thermal comfort between two methods was obtained and discussed, with both comfort periods from April to October. Meanwhile, it was found with interest that climate warming probably extends the comfort periods compared to previous related research.
