The Researches on Countermeasures to Reduce Delivery Times of Mass Customized Products

摘要：

This paper investigates several countermeasures to reduce delivery times of mass customized products.The countermeasures are the traditional build-to-order and the build-to replenishes approach.It will be considered if a balanced or unbalanced ability countermeasure should be chosen.Furthermore,decision variables a lot sizes and Kanban safety stock levels.A simulation study shows that mixed countermeasure are often superior to pure countermeasure if a given delivery time and service level should be achieved at minimum costs.
