Study on Modern Logistics Distribution System Based on GIS
GIS is a computer system which can get,save,manage,inquire,imitate and analyze geographic information,and its a general geographic information technology which can process and analyze a great deal of geographic data.In accordance with geographic haracteristic GIS unites the data of many aspects in different levels to form a model of the real world,on this model GIS uses space inquiry and space analysis to manage the information,process and regenerate space information with space information imitation and analysis software package,and lay the first stone for space auxiliary decision analysis.The application of GIS to the distribution system planning and decision can improve modern distribution efficiency effectively.This paper introduces domestic and foreign current research situation on GIS,explains the content and characteristics of GIS in detail,raises the logistics distribution system design based on GIS,and puts forward how to realize the logistics distribution system function based on GIS.
