The Finite Element Analysis for Loaded Flank of Corn Seed
The geometric model and the finite element model with the measured results for seed corn was established in this paper .The stress distribution of corn seed was analyzed under compressing load by the finite element method .The microcosmic mechanical properties of corn seed under compressing load were obtained, which could be provided as mechanical parameters for studying deeply mechanical properties and damage mechanism of corn seed and optimizing threshing machine .It can be concluded that rupturing location and rupturing direction of corn seed accords with simulating result and microcosmic crack of corn seed arouses macroscopic breakage through comparing the model calculation with the experimental results.
