The Technology of Multiple-rectifiers Whose PSTs with Extended Secondary Wings

The multi-pulse rectifier can effectively decrease the harmonic distortion of line side current,and by multiplying it we can get a better performance of harmonic cancellation of the line current. The hardware circuit structure of double 18-pulse rectifier is analyzed, namely the equivalent 36-pulse rectifier. And the harmonic cancellation of the line side current under ideal conditions after adopting the equivalent 36-pulse rectifier is discussed as well, MATLAB is used to simulate and the simulation results prove that the theory analysis is correct .Two PSTs which power the equivalent 36-pulse rectifier are made, and the waveforms of the actual primary, secondary line currents of the two PSTs and the line side current are obtained, which prove the good efficiency of harmonic cancellation.
