Py-GC/MS Analysis on Resource Utilization of Sunflower Stem
As the global textile and oil plant with significant economic value, sunflower stem widely planted in West China. Py-GC/MS was used to analyze and obtain the bioactive components from sunflower stem. After treated with freeze-drying, the comminuted power of sunflower stem was pyrolyzed in He atmosphere at 590℃, then the pyrolysis product was analyzed by online linked GC/MS.Relative content of each component was determined by area normalization, and 19 compounds representing 99.98% were identified. The main and abundant constituents were carbon dioxide (19.12%),1-propanol (14.39%), R-(-)-cyclohexylethylamine (13.92%), butane (13.92%), acetic acid (12.18%),1,6-anhydro-.beta.-D-glucopyranose (7.52%), phenol, 2-methoxy-4-(1-propenyl)- (5.09%),2,3,5,6-tetrafluoroanisole (3.92%), 2-propanone, 1-hydroxy- (3.13%), phenol, 2-methoxy-4-methyl-(1.88%), 2-butene-1,4-diol, (Z)- (1.01%), and so on. So pyrolysis product of sunflower stem could be used to bioenergy, bio-pesticides, expensive chemicals, and so on.
