Development of Chinese-sensible Code Encoding System
The two-dimensional (2D) barcode, which is of large capacity, high density, powerful error-correction capability and high security, has played an important role in the commodity circulation,international trade, informatization, and economic development. The Chinese-sensible code is the first 2D barcode with matrix form, which is independently developed by Chinese and becomes the national standards GB/T 21049-2007 with independent intellectual property rights in China. It broke through the commercial monopoly of foreign companies in the key technology such as generating and reading of the 2D barcode, and it will definitely impel the application process of the 2D barcode technology in China with its low cost and show the wide prospect in application. So it is of important theoretical significance and practical value to select encoding and decoding of the Chinese-sensible code as the research objective. This paper focuses on studying the encoding rules of the Chinese-sensible code and the Reed-Solomon error-correcting code (RS code), and developing the encoding system of the Chinese-sensible code with the Visual C++6.0.
