An Analysis on the Level & Interrelated Factors of Chinese Agriculture Websites

Low entry cost and high expected returns resulted in the agricultural dot.com boom in the period from 2000 to 2007 in China. Study on agriculture websites has also recently witnessed significant progress. Yet, how to better understand the bases and levels of agriculture enterprise websites development, and how to promote the nature and role of agriculture enterprise websites still remains an open question. In this case, this paper evaluates Chinese agriculture websites, measures the whole level of Chinese agriculture websites in seven provinces tested of China, designates and tests special factors that are usually thought as interrelated with Chinese agriculture websites. The results of this study have led to the conclusion that the development of Chinese agriculture websites is not fully developed and balanced and the level of agriculture GDP and the level of agriculture GDP/Total GDP are to some extent interrelated with the level of websites in different districts.
