Situated in the eastern part of Shaanxi Province,China,where there is a transitional zone between the central Shaanxi Plain and the Northern Shaanxi Loess Plateau,the Cemetery of the Western & Eastern Zhou Dynasties (1100-256 B.C.) in Hancheng City,Shaanxi Province (hereinafter referred to as the Cemetery),which boasts a recent major archaeological discovery concerning the Western & Eastern Zhou Dynasties (1100-256 B.C.) civilization in China,was unearthed in 2005 and was then rated as one of the ten leading archaeological discoveries of national significance.
