Study on the construction techniques of a novel bamboo-steel composite rock-bolt

Currently,large quantities of cultural relies are on the verge of temporary damage,so China has increased the intensity of the heritage conservation.As an effective method of reinforcing the soil body of cultural relies,the bamboo-steel composite rock-bolts have been widely used in the preservation projects of cultural relics.This paper,basing on the anchoring projects of the cliff of JIAOHE Ancient City,summarizes and optimizes the construction techniques,including the location of anchor hole,hole-creating,lifting rock-bolts,installing rock-bolts,grouting,installing anchor devices,blocking the anchor holes,imitation of ancient surface,curing the rock-bolts etc..The research provides scientific basis for popularizing this new type rock-bolt for the preservation projects of cultural relies in the arid-semiarid regions,and it has a referential meaning for similar anchoring projects.
