The Conservation method and techniques of Defective Liao Tomb Frescoes in Tuerji Hill-A case study ofCanvas Layers Reconstruction and Printing Conservation

Inner Mongolian Frescoes Conservation Center started the Conservation of Liao Tomb Frescoes in Tuerji Hill in May 2005.After research,analysis,repeated experiments,restoration,conservation and expert demonstration,the project finished on June 2006 with satisfactory result.Based on the principle of heritage conservation,the restoration and conservation of defective Liao tomb frescoes combined the traditional techniques and modem technology,groped for the suitable methods and techniques of ancient burial frescoes in Inner Mongolia,provide a successful experience for further enhancement of conservation techniques.
