Construction of topographic map using close-range photogrammetry for the preservation of the Buddhist monastery of Ajina Tepa,Tajikistan
The restoration and conservation activities have been carrying out for the preservation of the Buddhist Monastry of Ajina Tepa,heritage of the ancient Silk Roads in Tajikistan.This project is managed by UNESCO and financially supported by the Japanese Funds-in-Trust for the preservation of cultural heritage.Topographical mapping of the site was done by the application of photogrammetric technique as one of the documentation activities in the project.Consequently,this technique was practicably useful for the documentation and the planning for the restoration of the site.High resolution topographic map will be utilized for the planning of the site restoration.
