Effect of Ventilation Ways on Airflow Profile Patterns inside Greenhouse
3-D stead numerical simulations were done based on the CFD technique in the bi-span Venlo glasshouse. The airflow patterns were studied for the natural ventilation and the forced ventilation by means of the Realized κ ε model and DO radiation model. The results showed the average relative error between the simulated and the measured values was 11% and 5.6% for two ventilation ways,respectively. At crop level, the air speed was about 0.2~0.25m/s for the natural ventilation and 0.6m/s for the forced ventilation. The air current and the dead zone were generated during the natural ventilation. The air moved with a uniform speed of 0.6m/s at crop level when the forced ventilation was at work. The ventilation ways had an effect on the airflow distributions interior greenhouse.
