Research on the Flow Patterns and the Measures to Improve Flow Pattern of Round Sump and Multiple Units Pumping Stations
According to the model test of some pumping station,inlet flow patterns in round sump under different operating conditions were studied.The influence of the flow patterns on pump performance was discussed.The causes of poor inlet conditions were analyzed,and some measures were suggested to ameliorate inlet flow patterns and improve pump performance.The conclusions from the paper were valuable in ameliorating flow patterns and improving pump performance and the efficiency of the pump and the pumping station.
