Inlet Flow Patterns and Improvement Measures in the Fore Bay of Pumping Station

摘要：

Combined with hydraulic model test of Pudong-North-Road pumping station which was one of the third period projects of sewage disposal in Shanghai,the flow patterns in the fore bay of pumping station and the reason for the harmful flow patterns were studied.The measures to improve the harmful flow patterns were put forward.The results of the experiments showed that these measures effectively improved the inflow patterns and pump performance and the efficiency of the pumping station.
