Research on Experiment and Simulation of Soil Water Movement of Alternate Drip Irrigation with No Plant

Alternate irrigation is a new phenomenon of water saving irrigation.The Water using efficiency was affected by drainage flow and irrigation time is different because the alternate drip irrigation is different from conventional drip irrigation.In this paper,we studied soil water movement under three different drip flows (2L/h,4L/h and 8L/h).The Hydrns-2D simulation results of water contents were found to be in agreement with the experiment observations.The results support the use of the Hydrus-2D as a tool to simulate the soil water movement with plant and to make sure drip flow and irrigation time.
