The Technique of Economic Irrigation
The technique of economic irrigation is a locally irrigation methods crop is supplied with very limited water and it is concentrated into its root areas by irrigation equipments like sprinkler,drip equipment or micro sub-surface system.Soil will be only made wet piecemeal under stump of tree (this space is the active part of the root) to ensure crops have the best development and growth.Experimented regulations of economic irrigation at two areas with different conditions of terrain,edaphology,climate and crops,the fruit-tree region (grape-vine,blue dragon) in Ninh Thuan Province and the export vegetable region in Dalat City,Lam Dong Province,Vietnam were chosen to evaluate irrigational standards of the soils and crops as well as cropping methods.Research results show that irrigation water quantity for the economic irrigation technique really reduces more considerably than that of traditional irrigation methods.Concurrently,it increases productivity and quality of crops.
