Model of Crop Response to Water for Maize in Arid Area of China

Through a field deficit irrigation experiment conducted in Hetao Irrigation District located in arid area of western China,the relation between maize yield and water was studied with models of crop response to water that are internationally representative.The model of crop response to water suitable for maize was chosen and its sensitive indexes and the water sensitive growth stage of maize were determined so as to provide a scientific basis for water saving irrigation management in Hetao Irrigation District
