Study on Non-linear Vibration of Traveling Wave Ultradonic Motor Stator
It is analyzed that the contact force between stator and rotor of traveling wave ultrasonic motor(TWUM) is nonlinear and the force can cause the stator nonlinear vibration.On the basis of this,TWUM stator nonlinear vibration model is built,and then the model makes use of the KBM method to find the solution.The result shows that stator vibration presents nonlinear vibration jump and ysteresis phenomena.So this can cause TWUM output performance.These are validated by experiment.It is pointed out that the higher exciting stator voltage,the lower preload between stator and rotor,the smaller friction coefficients between stator and friction material,the shorter stator ooth and the softer friction material can make stator nonlinear vibration with jump and hysteresis phenomena fainter and TWUM operate more stable and broader working frequency band.
