Spatial Variability and Relationships between Wheat Growth and Yield

Spatial distributions and relationship between Information on the growth of wheat and wheat yield were analyzed using geostatistics methods in the farm of Danyang. The results show that variables are all approximately normally distributed and have good spatial structure characteristics. Leaf area index is closely related to wheat yield, as their correlation coefficients is 0.694. However Chlorophyll Content, fresh weight, tiller number and plant height have little effect on what yield. Their partial correlation coefficients are respectively -0.27, -0.258, 0.247 and -0.357.
