Application Research on Supervision Mode of Water Percolation in Longmen Grottoes
(0) Since the excavation,Longmen Grottoes has been long affected by various kinds of stresses,and resulted in weathering denudation of sculptures.The main reasons are erosion of rain water,condensation water and underground water,etc.Cave water percolation is one of most severe diseases endangering the safety of caves;however,supervision on cave water percolation has been a relatively difficult work.Until recent years,the new adopted equipment and methods have broken through limits of man-made observation,including taking many supervision modes on qualitative supervision on water percolation,such as 24-hour digital photographing,at the same time,carrying out quantitative supervision,and large amount of supervision results have been obtained,which provides full and accurate reference on treatment of water percolation.It is hoped that it can provide reference for other grottoes concerning supervision and treatment on water percolation.
